What is Gold Rush?

Gold Rush is a recurring Sea of Thieves event that happens twice per day, with each window lasting one hour. While Gold Rush is active, all treasure sold earns a 1.5× gold multiplier. This bonus can stack with other active multipliers, such as Emissary Grade bonuses or special events like Gold & Glory.

When multiple bonuses are active at the same time, the multipliers combine by multiplying together, not by adding. For example, if Gold Rush (1.5×) overlaps with Gold & Glory (2×), the total payout becomes 3.0× the base gold earned (1.5 × 2 = 3.0) for all treasure sold while both bonuses are active.
